Tsuru Sensu

Using illustrations selected from the vast archive of old fans held by Miyawaki Baisenan, we have reconstructed the design, combining respect for the past with a modern sensibility.

A glittering white background, painted by an artisan with a brush, features an avant-garde print of cranes in fluorescent and metallic colors.

The rare fluorescent red top coat also adds an accent.

Although the design is classical, it also has a somewhat psychedelic feel to it.
